I’m Edison ISHIMWE, a Finalist student pursuing a Bachelor’s degree with honors in Business Information Technology (BIT) at the University of Kigali. With a keen passion for data analytics, business optimization, and emerging technologies like AI and IoT, I specialize in transforming insights into strategic action.

I’ve built a robust interdisciplinary skill set spanning business, technology, and analytics. My academic foundation in Mathematics, Physics, and Computer Science (MPC) fuels my proficiency in quantitative problem-solving and innovative solutions for real-world business challenges.

I am a passionate and goal-driven Business Information Technology (BIT) student at the University of Kigali, with a deep interest in the intersection of technology, business intelligence, and innovation. My expertise spans data analytics, artificial intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT), system analysis, and project management. Through my academic journey and professional experiences, I have cultivated a deep understanding of how technology can be leveraged to optimize business processes and drive data-driven decision-making.

With a strong focus on innovation and results, I have led and contributed to a diverse range of business, research, and technology-driven projects. As a Business & Technology Project Intern at Travessal Ltd, I support IT-business integration projects, data-driven analysis, and cross-functional collaboration.

In my role as Trainer & Judge at Coderina EdTech, I mentored students and entrepreneurs while evaluating projects for feasibility and scalability. Serving as Administrative & Operations Lead at Bellezza Business Group Ltd and Operations Lead at EBs Products strengthened my expertise in leadership, client relations, and operational management. Additionally, my experience as a Creative Director & IT Administrator at EnyPictures.com honed my ability to merge creativity, technology, and analytical insights to deliver impactful solutions.

I specialize in business intelligence, system design, and AI-driven solutions, utilizing tools such as Google Looker Studio, Excel, Python, SQL, and various programming languages. My career goal is to contribute to technological advancements in the business and energy sectors, helping organizations and communities optimize their operations through smart and data-driven approaches.

When I am not working on projects, I enjoy exploring new technologies, engaging in research, and mentoring students in robotics and STEM education. I am always eager to learn, collaborate, and take on new challenges in the fields of AI, IoT, data analytics, and business technology.
